Salam Alaykum,

Are there any scientific theories formulated concerning the rising of the sun from the west?

First, this has nothing to do with the Quran.

Second, several times throughout Earth's life the magnetic poles reversed: North became South, then South became North again, then North became South... The next time it happens if you have a compass it would tell you that the sun rises from the West.

If Earth losses the moon Earth would begin to tumble with respect to stars. In this case you would see the sun rising and setting in the same spot (no compasses involved).

What about the theory where the earth is likened to that of a spring, the spring is being twisted in one direction until it can't turn anymore then it begins to rotate in the opposite direction. I've seen that on a few sites, how credible is this theory?

And when was the last time the Earth's magnetic poles reversed?

This is garbage.

Thats bullshit. In the hadith it says that it will come from the other side and not. Do you think Mohammed had compasses?

There is no such story in the Quran.
